Full Stack Developer (NodeJS/ Golang)- Insurance 30-45k

As a Full Stack Developer specialising in Node.js and Golang, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge technology solutions. This role is in the insurance industry and based in HK.

Description

• Develop and maintain digital platforms in accordance with corporate branding and quality standards.
• Design, build, and enhance both frontend and backend features for distribution platforms.
• Deliver responsive and scalable applications within an Agile development environment.
• Ensure compliance with web development standards, usability guidelines, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvements by introducing new technologies, tools, and development approaches.
• Work closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Contribute to application design, system architecture, and technical solution delivery.
• Support AI adoption and automation initiatives across software development processes.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Around 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Solid analytical thinking, problem-solving, and system design capabilities.
• Passionate about learning new technologies and keeping up with industry trends.
• Experience in frontend development using React Native, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of backend development using Go and/or Java Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MSSQL and MongoDB.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps tools, particularly Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with development tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Eclipse.
• Basic knowledge of Red Hat Linux environments is advantageous.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment with a positive mindset.
