Full Stack Developer (Onsite - Fredericton)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a public sector health application services organization. This role will augment the technical support team for community and connected care systems, contributing to the operation, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of applications that serve regional health authorities and the health department. The successful candidate will take on a mixture of steady state and project-based work, including system operation, user support, third party software upgrades, error resolution, feature development, system reprogramming for efficiency or security, and on-call after-hours support as part of the team rotation.

This position requires someone who can develop, document, code, test and implement technical solutions to support a complex portfolio of health care applications and integration platforms. The role will involve working with Electronic Health Records, clinical data repositories, integration engines, registries, and custom applications built on .NET, Oracle and SQL Server. Responsibilities include application release activities, maintenance and support tasks, incident and problem resolution, knowledge documentation, operations support rotation, and other duties as assigned such as team documentation updates and participation in team scrums.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
• 15+ years - information management and information technology experience
  
• 10+ years - Senior Programmer experience in programming and analysis
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  
• 4+ years - demonstrated experience working with provincial health care and Electronic Health Records applications
  
• 15+ years - developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements
  
• 4+ years - demonstrated experience working with integration engines such as Rhapsody
  
• 15+ years - demonstrated experience with Oracle and SQL Server
  
• 5+ years - demonstrated experience with PowerShell scripting
  
• 10+ years - demonstrated experience with Microsoft SSRS
  
• 1+ years - demonstrated experience with EMPI such as Initiate and Infosphere
  
• 10+ years - demonstrated experience with .NET
