TheParsons X PMIS teamis seeking a talentedSoftware Developer I – Full Stackto join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge as a software developer while working alongside excellent mentors in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Software Developer I, you will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications, with a primary focus onweb-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to help deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable applications.

Responsibilities

  • Participate inapplication developmentactivities, including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
  • Collaborate with theproduct teamto translate business and user needs into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to bothfront-end and back-end developmentefforts.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and support server-side application logic.
  • Help implement and maintainsecurity featuresand follow secure coding practices.
  • Work with technologies such asNodeJS, .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Engage with modern frameworks and platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Blazor, React, or Angular."

What Qualifications You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degreein Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Experience withserver-side programming languages.
  • Proficiency with one or more server-side languages such asC#,Java,NodeJS, orPython.
  • Experience with theMicrosoft .NET Platformfor desktop and web application development.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such asSQL ServerorMySQL.
  • Proficiency inHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstratedproblem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and construct effective solutions.
  • Excellentoral and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Willingness to adapt to new technologies, tools, and team needs.
  • Familiarity withversion control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as Blazor, React or Angular."
  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Power Platform.
  • Experience working in collaborative Agile or product-focused development environments.

Education and Typical Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- (NOTE: Newly-hired MS graduates are typically hired into this level.)
- 2+ years of related professional experience.
