Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable product features across a modern React frontend and Node.js backend. The role has an approximately equal frontend/backend split and requires strong ownership across micro frontends, APIs, service architecture, containerization, testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end features across the
React frontend and Node.js/Express backend.
- Develop and integrate independently deployable micro frontends
within a modular architecture using Module Federation or a
comparable approach.
- Build, document, test, and maintain reusable UI components and
component libraries in Storybook.
- Implement responsive React experiences using hooks and sound
component architecture, with attention to rendering efficiency and
performance optimization.
- Own client-side state and server-state patterns using Tan Stack
Query and Zu stand, and work with Tan Stack Router where applicable.
- Design, develop, and consume REST and/or GraphQL APIs across
microservices, with clear, maintainable API contracts.
- Own service-level architecture decisions, including data modeling,
API boundaries, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Build backend services and integrations using Node.js and Express
within a microservices environment.
- Containerize applications and services using Docker and support
multi-service local development and deployment workflows.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to reliable CI/CD
practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews and architecture discussions
and provide technical guidance or mentoring to mid-level engineers.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across the full
stack, taking ownership through resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with React, including hooks, component
architecture, reusable patterns, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience with Tan Stack Query and/or Tan Stack Router
for server-state, data fetching, caching, routing, and related
application patterns.
- Solid experience with Zustand or a similar lightweight client-state
management library.
- Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries
with Storybook, including clear documentation and testing practices.
- Practical experience implementing micro frontend architecture using
Module Federation or similar technology.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and Express.
- Experience designing, developing, and operating services within a
microservices architecture.
- Hands-on Docker experience, including application containerization
and multi-service local development.
- Comfortable writing unit and integration tests and working within
CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of API design and integration using REST and/or
GraphQL.
- Ability to reason for scalability, service boundaries, data models,
API contracts, and production-grade engineering tradeoffs.
- Strong debugging, communication, collaboration, and code-review
skills, with the ability to take ownership across frontend and
backend systems.
