Prevail'sPSOteam builds the tools and platformsof our technology landscape, used day to day by the intelligence analysts behind our client investigations.Today thesesolutionsarehighlyspecialisedand application-specific, but they share the same backend core:Databricks,AWS and Python, with React on the frontend where needed. We'rebringingthese tools together into a single, consolidatedintelligence platform, and this role will play a part in that evolution.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll design, build and maintain theapplications that powerourbusiness- from APIs and services on our Python and AWS backend, through to the user interfacesintelligenceanalysts use directly, some of which are built in React. Our ambitions go beyond internal tooling:we're rebuilding towards a broaderplatformoffering that, over time, we expect to extend to clients as well, andyou'llplay a part in shaping that as it grows. You'llwork closely with the rest of the engineering team to turn requirements into reliable, well-engineered software.

This is a mid-level role suited to someone with solid full stack experience who is comfortable owning features end to end, wants to help shape a growing platform, and is motivated by building tools that have a genuine, tangible impact on real investigations. We're looking for someone who can find the balance between pragmatism andcraftsmanship, knowing when to move fast and when to invest in the right foundations.

  • Help evolve our engineering practices, tooling and CI/CD processes as the team and platform grow.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-standard engineering culture.

  • Comfortable working with SQL and reasoningaboutdata models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous requirements into a clear technical plan.
  • Good communicationskills, able to work directly with SolutionEngineersand, where needed, analysts to clarify requirements.
  • A methodical approach to testing, codequalityand documentation.
  • High levelsof IT literacy, including confidence picking up new tools and frameworks quickly.
