Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and React.js. The candidate should have experience in:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Development

• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.

• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs.

• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.

• Integrate with internal/external APIs and third-party services.

• Implement proper validation, exception handling and error management.

1. Frontend Development

• Develop responsive and high-performance applications using React.js.

• Hands-on experience with Redux and React Hooks.

• Develop reusable and modular UI components.

• Ensure frontend performance and cross-browser compatibility.

1. End-to-End Application Development

• Build and support applications across the complete lifecycle:

  • Design

  • Development

  • Integration

  • Testing

  • Deployment

  • Production support

• Good understanding of application architecture and system-design principles.

• Build applications considering scalability, maintainability, reliability and performance.

• Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, API and database layers.

1. Database

• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

• Understanding of database design, query optimisation and application performance.

1. Security & Performance

• Understanding of secure coding practices.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorisation and API security.

• Awareness of OWASP Top 10.

• Ability to identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.

1. Testing & DevOps

• Experience with unit/integration testing using Jest, Mocha or similar frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with Git/Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Experience with application logging, monitoring and production troubleshooting.

1. Cloud

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Understanding of cloud-based application deployment is preferred.

1. Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, UI/UX, engineering and other stakeholders.

• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Must-Have Skills:

• 4–6 years of software development experience

• Node.js + Express.js

• React.js + Redux and React Hooks

• REST API development and integration

• SQL and/or NoSQL databases

• End-to-end full-stack application development

• Application architecture and basic system-design understanding

• Git / Azure DevOps

• Performance optimisation and production troubleshooting

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Azure and/or AWS exposure

• CI/CD and DevOps knowledge

• Jest/Mocha or similar testing frameworks

• OWASP and secure development practices

• Application logging and monitoring

• Experience supporting production-grade applications
