Job Summary

This role is ideal for developers with a strong background in building enterprise applications within the airline industry. The successful candidate will design, develop, and integrate scalable web applications and backend services that support airline operations, including Passenger Service Systems (PSS), airline APIs, booking and order servicing, airport operations, and NDC integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications for airline operations.
• Build and enhance backend services, REST APIs, and modern web applications using Java/Kotlin and TypeScript-based frameworks.
• Develop and support integrations with airline systems, including Passenger Service Systems (PSS), NDC APIs, Departure Control Systems (DCS), and other airline platforms.
• Implement and optimize airline booking, order servicing, ticketing, check-in, and flight disruption workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions following best practices in software architecture and API design.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support operational dashboards, system monitoring, and integration reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Full Stack Development
• 2-3+ years of hands-on airline industry experience (mandatory)
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Passenger Service Systems (PSS)
• Navitaire / NewSkies
• Amadeus Altéa
• Sabre
• NDC APIs
• Departure Control Systems (DCS)
• Airline APIs
• Booking & Order Servicing
• Airport Operations
• Flight Disruption Management

Technical Skills

• The ideal candidate has strong full-stack development experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (SvelteKit, React, Next.js, or Vue.js).
• Proficient in building secure REST APIs, working with PostgreSQL, and developing scalable, cloud-ready applications.
• Experience integrating airline systems such as PSS, NDC APIs, DCS, and other airline operational platforms is essential, along with a solid understanding of API integrations, authentication, CI/CD, and modern software architecture.
