Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer will design and deliver robust web applications using React Js Next Js Node JS and TypeScript while ensuring high quality through JEST unit testing and React Testing Library This hybrid day role focuses on scalable REST API consuming secure PostgreSQL data management efficient WebPack builds and modern UI with Bootstrap 5 and Redux Toolkit enabling impactful digital solutions for global business needs

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high performing web applications using React Js Next Js and TypeScript to deliver reliable and maintainable user experiences that directly support core business capabilities and long term product sustainability
• Develop and optimize Node JS services that consume REST API endpoints to ensure secure efficient and scalable data exchange across internal and external digital ecosystems
• Configure and refine WebPack build pipelines to improve bundle performance code splitting and asset management which results in faster load times and enhanced client satisfaction
• Create responsive accessible and reusable user interface components with Bootstrap 5 and Redux Toolkit to provide consistent interaction patterns and a cohesive design system across applications
• Write comprehensive unit tests using JEST and React Testing Library to achieve strong code coverage reduce defect leakage and promote confidence in frequent and incremental releases
• Collaborate with cross functional product and engineering partners in a hybrid work model to clarify requirements propose technical solutions and align delivery outcomes with organizational objectives
• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL schemas indexes queries and data integrity rules to support reliable transactional behavior and responsive analytical reporting for business stakeholders
• Use GITHUB for version control through structured branching disciplined pull requests and thorough code reviews to safeguard code quality and ensure auditable development workflows
• Analyze production and preproduction issues by reviewing logs metrics and error traces then implement targeted fixes and refactoring activities to improve overall system stability and user trust
• Document technical designs implementation details and testing strategies in clear and accessible formats so that knowledge sharing onboarding and ongoing maintenance are streamlined
• Coordinate secure and efficient integration of frontend and backend components by validating REST API contracts handling edge cases and enforcing consistent error management policies
• Apply advanced TypeScript patterns and strict typing practices to reduce runtime defects enhance developer productivity and create predictable collaboration across large codebases

Qualifications

• Possess eight to twelve years of progressive software engineering experience delivering complex web applications with significant exposure to enterprise grade environments
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in React Js Next Js and TypeScript with a track record of building modular reusable components and optimizing rendering performance for modern browsers
• Show hands on experience with Node JS and REST API consuming including design of request flows error handling patterns and integration of security and observability practices
• Exhibit practical expertise in JEST unit testing and React Testing Library by designing meaningful test suites that validate critical behaviors and ensure regression prevention in evolving systems
• Bring solid knowledge of PostgreSQL administration and query optimization including index strategies schema design and data integrity enforcement suitable for high volume applications
• Use Redux Toolkit and Bootstrap 5 effectively to create scalable state management solutions and visually consistent responsive interfaces that align with organizational design guidelines
• Demonstrate strong familiarity with WebPack configuration and performance tuning as well as disciplined usage of GITHUB workflows for collaborative and traceable software delivery in a hybrid environment
