Full Stack Developer
Summary
Build and maintain secure full-stack applications in Java/JavaScript, integrate with government systems, and deploy to AWS GovCloud while following DoD cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application components using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Develop secure REST and SOAP web services
- Build and support integrations with external DoD and federal systems
- Implement software according to DoD cybersecurity, test, and configuration standards
- Support deployment and release activities in cloud-hosted environments such as AWS GovCloud
- Work within 2–6 week sprint cycles using agile methodologies
- Collaborate with Product Owners and SMEs to refine user stories and acceptance criteria
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to resolve incidents, defects, and user-reported issues
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, integration documentation, test scripts, and release notes
- Support Change Advisory Boards and Configuration Control Boards as required
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Proficiency with Java (JDK), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and relational databases
- Experience with REST/SOAP web service development
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Experience with middleware such as WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GovCloud equivalents
- Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN
- Experience with defensive coding and secure development practices
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
- US citizenship required
