Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer with 1-3 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development and a strong understanding of Node.js and React. Experience with mobile development (Flutter or React Native) is a plus. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of REST APIs, databases, and modern web fundamentals, with the ability to work independently across a multi-project codebase. You will play a key role in building and maintaining our consumer apps, backend services, and admin portals, collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions, and growing your skills through hands-on experience across our full product ecosystem (apps on Google Play & App Store).

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Backend Development:

Develop and maintain backend services using NestJS (Node.js) and PostgreSQL.

Build and integrate REST APIs for a microservices-based system.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

2. Mobile & Web Development:

Build and maintain features across mobile apps (Flutter, React Native/Expo).

Develop admin dashboards using Next.js.

Integrate Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In, Email) across apps.

3. Independent Contributor with Guidance:

Work independently on tasks with minimal supervision while seeking help when needed.

Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently in development and production.

4. AI Tool Adoption & Productivity Enhancement:

Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve productivity.

Stay open to exploring new AI-assisted solutions for automation and efficiency.

Leverage AI tools to improve code quality, testing, and debugging.

5. Code Quality & Testing:

Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.

Write unit tests (Jest) and debug code effectively.

Apply TDD principles and gain exposure to E2E testing (Cypress/Playwright).

6. Microservices & System Knowledge:

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with relational databases (PostgreSQL).

Gain exposure to Redis caching and BullMQ job queues.

Integrate Stripe payments and Sharetribe marketplace SDK.

7.Collaboration & Learning:

Work closely with senior engineers and product teams to understand business needs.

Be open to learning new technologies and best practices to improve development skills.

Communicate technical concepts and progress clearly with the team.
