Full Stack Developer

We develop software for the metal fabrication industry. Our solutions help boost the productivity of metal fabrication partners worldwide. We focus on two products: the SchüCAM machine software and a web-based solution for production planning. We are currently developing new interface concepts for both of these software solutions, designed to put the user at the centre. This will make operating our machines intuitive and significantly simplify work preparation in the future.

TASKS:

• Implementation of modern software interfaces for our completely new web application for production planning and for our Schüco machines control software, SchüCAM
• Development of a responsive web application with a native REST-API connection to an existing backend system, the application must be containerisable so that it can be integrated into the existing Docker infrastructure as a own single container
• Development of a user interface for our desktop application SchüCAM which includes 2D- and 3D- views
• Structured and clean code documentation for handover to the infrastructure team
• Implementation of robust, user-friendly error handling in the event of API failures or timeouts

PROFILE:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS) and modern layout methods such as Flexbox and Grid, as well as programming skills in C# WPF
• In-depth knowledge of at least one common front-end framework (e.g. React, Vue.js or Angular) and the .NET framework
• Solid experience in integrating and utilizing RESTful web services
• Confident in implementation of authentication methods (e.g. JWT, OAuth2 or API keys)
• Experience in developing desktop applications and web-based applications is desirable
• Proven experience in creating user interfaces that scale seamlessly across desktop, tablet and smartphone devices
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice to Have:

• Experience in 3D rendering and the use of C# based graphics libraries
• Experience in containerization, creating functional Docker files and handling environment variables in code for configuring runtimes
• Experience in version control with Git (including Git Flow, pull requests and code reviews)
