Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Full-stack Developer role based in Durban. The Full-stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications across both front-end and back-end layers, ensuring scalable, secure, and robust solutions. Daily responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and integrating APIs, optimizing application performance, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, operations, and manufacturing support. The role will also involve participating in code reviews, contributing to technical documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of internal systems and development practices to meet business and stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience working across multiple layers of modern web applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills, including designing APIs, managing data persistence, and working with server-side frameworks and databases.
- Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including building responsive user interfaces and using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to deliver consistent, accessible designs.
- Candidates should possess good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, multidisciplinary environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial, along with prior experience in full-stack or software development roles.
