Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will build and maintain high-performance financial engineering applications that automate processes, mitigate risk, and enhance operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Develop backend systems primarily using Python, supplemented by Java and other enterprise languages.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces using React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Architect robust, distributed services using microservices and event-driven patterns.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts for non-technical business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production issues rapidly and implement effective, high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate effectively across distributed, multi-site engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python, with exposure to languages like Java, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Hands-on experience with frontend technologies, specifically React, Next.js, and JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, including microservices, event-driven design, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience navigating the full SDLC, utilizing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database management systems.
- Exposure to data science workflows, statistical modeling, or machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with Python-based UI frameworks like Dash is a plus.
