Service Stream is hiring a full-time permanent Full Stack Developer in its internal GBIS team at Collins Street, Melbourne (hybrid), to build and modernise business-critical systems and provide L1–L3 application support. Core stack: C#/.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server/T-SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript front-end frameworks, REST APIs and CI/CD.

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Group Business Information Systems (GBIS) team. This role blends software development with application support, giving you the opportunity to enhance and modernise systems that support our operations nationally.
Please note: This is a full-time permanent position based at our Collins Street office, with genuine hybrid flexibility. The role is open to Australian Citizens.
About the Role
Application Support & Reliability
Provide Level 1, 2 and 3 support for critical applications and integrations
Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and performance issues
Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
Monitor application health and maintain support documentation
Software Development
Design, develop, test and deploy secure, scalable solutions
Deliver enhancements, upgrades and modernisation initiatives
Refactor legacy applications and reduce technical debt
Implement automation and continuous improvement opportunities
Database & Integration Support
Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects
Troubleshoot database performance and data integrity issues
Support REST APIs, integrations and data migration activities
Collaborate with DBA, infrastructure and vendor teams
Change & Release Management
Support application releases, upgrades and deployments
Prepare testing, implementation and rollback documentation
Assist with patching, vulnerability remediation and UAT activities
What You'll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience in Full Stack Development, Software Engineering or Application Support
Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET and Web APIs
Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills
Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with React, Angular, Vue or similar frameworks
Experience with REST APIs, Git and CI/CD practices
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and stakeholder management skills
Highly Regarded
Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
Power Platform
PowerShell or Python scripting
Application monitoring and observability tools
ERP, workforce management or asset management systems
Agile, DevOps and ITIL environments
Microsoft certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
