Full Stack Developer - Shopify Experience

Overview

Salt is hiring a skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong Shopify experience and frontend technologies. You will build Shopify apps, backend services, and integrations for leading e-commerce businesses.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architectural standards for custom Shopify apps and backend microservices.
• Mentor a team of developers and conduct code reviews.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability across projects.
• Oversee design and execution of complex integrations with third-party systems (ERPs, WMS, POS).
• Drive the adoption of best practices in CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders to align engineering priorities with business goals.
• Foster learning and support career growth in the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in full-stack development, with 2+ years in leadership or mentorship roles.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and both GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Strong ERP domain knowledge and experience integrating third-party platforms (ERP, WMS, POS).
• Proficient in Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of batch-processing patterns and handling concurrent tasks in distributed environments.
• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership from design through deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Front-end experience with React, Remix, Tailwind/CSS, and Polaris. xgiwjmb
