About the Role
We are looking for a versatile Full-Stack Web Developer to maintain, improve, and develop the web platforms that support our consumer lead-generation and lead-management operations.
This is a hands-on technical role covering a mix of WordPress development, custom PHP applications, integrations, databases, and Docker-based infrastructure. You will work across public-facing websites as well as internal lead-management and supplier-facing applications that play an important role in how leads are captured, processed, qualified, and delivered to our partners.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both modern and legacy systems, investigating complex issues, maintaining business-critical applications, and progressively improving the reliability and maintainability of the technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
WordPress & Front-End Development
Maintain and develop multiple WordPress-based lead-generation websites.
Build and update pages, templates, forms, calculators, and other website functionality.
Work extensively with Elementor and Gravity Forms.
Troubleshoot form-submission, tracking, validation, integration, and front-end issues.
Maintain and support custom WordPress plugins and integrations.
Test plugin and platform upgrades before production deployment.
Investigate and resolve compatibility issues between WordPress, plugins, PHP versions, and third-party services.
PHP & Full-Stack Application Development
Maintain and enhance custom PHP-based Lead Management System and supplier-facing portal applications.
Investigate and resolve backend application bugs and production issues.
Develop and maintain controllers, business logic, reports, account-management functionality, and portal features.
Work with legacy PHP applications while helping progressively modernise the environment.
Maintain PDF-based invoice and report generation functionality.
Troubleshoot lead processing, allocation, webhook, database, and application workflow issues.
Improve application reliability through appropriate validation, error handling, logging, and testing.
CRM, API & Integration Development
Maintain integrations between websites, internal applications, CRM systems, and external services.
Investigate webhook and API-related issues.
Support lead and customer data flows between internal platforms and HubSpot.
Work with integrations involving services such as AWS SQS, SMTP, Google, Facebook, SMS providers, and payment systems.
Diagnose tracking and attribution issues, including URL parameters and lead-source data.
DevOps & Infrastructure

Configure and troubleshoot Apache, Nginx, PHP-FPM, TLS certificates, reverse proxies, Redis, and related services.
Support multiple PHP runtime versions across legacy and current applications.
Maintain development environments designed to closely mirror production.
Assist with database and platform migration work, including MariaDB/MySQL environments.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
Diagnose environment-specific application and infrastructure issues.
Database Development & Support
Work with MySQL and MariaDB databases supporting lead-management applications.
Write, review, and troubleshoot SQL queries.

Work with supporting technologies such as Redis and MongoDB where required.
Security & Maintenance
Review and respond to website security alerts and vulnerabilities.
Support WordPress security maintenance and plugin updates.
Follow secure development and credential-management practices.
Assist with technical access reviews and credential rotation when required.
Participate in testing and remediation of application security issues.
Testing, Documentation & Deployment
Test changes against representative development environments before release.
Perform structured testing for higher-risk upgrades and application changes
Document technical findings, test results, deployment requirements, and known issues.
Participate in code review and deployment sign-off processes.
Maintain clear technical documentation to make systems easier for other developers to understand and support.

Experience consuming, troubleshooting, or building REST APIs and webhooks.
Strong Git-based development workflow experience.
Ability to investigate complex bugs across the application, database, integration, and infrastructure layers
Comfortable working with established codebases where documentation or architecture may not always be perfect.
Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.

Is comfortable inheriting existing systems and progressively improving them.
