We\'re seeking a skilled Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our innovative drone software platform.

Work Location: Hybrid - Remote / Southampton SO19

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain our drone software platform using React for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end.
Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive interfaces.
Contribute to our Components Library (internal npm package).
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of React.js.
Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.
Familiarity with database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration.
Experience with Git.
Knowledge of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of Docker.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Experience with drone software, robotics, or IoT systems.
Fluency in English is essential.
Flexible and a team player.
