Job Description

What You'll Actually Do

Client Project Work (70%)

• Build web applications
• Write clean, maintainable code that passes senior developer review
• Use AI tools for coding support (Claude, GitHub Copilot)
• Participate in standups
• Deliver working features weekly, not just "progress updates"
• Handle code reviews, bug fixes, and feature enhancements

Internal Collaboration (20%)

• For Seniors, Mentor junior developers on client projects
• Contribute to our internal tools and automation
• Participate in technical discussions about client solutions
• Help improve our development processes and standards (we believe in open collaboration, not top-down)

Client Communication (10%)

• Join client meetings (typically 1-2 per week)
• Provide technical input on project planning
• Communicate blockers and solutions proactivelyDocument technical decisions and progress

Qualifications

Possible Technical Skills

Core Development

• Backend: Node.js, Python, or .NET Core
• Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Version Control: Git/GitHub workflows
• Testing: Unit testing, integration testing basics

Nice to Have

• Docker containerization
• E-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce)

Communication

• English fluency: You'll speak directly with English speaking clients
• Proactive updates: Flag issues before they become problems
• Clear explanations: Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Async communication: Effective via Slack, email, and project tools

• Competitive rates: PLN90-150/hour depending on experience and tech stack
