Full Stack Developer @ Square One Resources

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a long-term transformation project for a large international organisation.

The role combines modern front-end and back-end development with cloud-based data and application technologies. You will be responsible for building secure, enterprise-grade applications and supporting the implementation of reporting, data and workflow capabilities.

This is a fully remote opportunity, with the possibility of extension after the initial 6-month contract.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work across both the application and data layers, contributing to the design, development and implementation of business-critical solutions.

You will collaborate closely with technical and data specialists, taking ownership of application development while working within an enterprise architecture and security framework.

The role will involve building user-facing applications, developing backend APIs, integrating with data platforms and implementing secure access and control mechanisms.

MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE

• Strong commercial experience with React.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building APIs/services with FastAPI.
• Good understanding of modern web application architecture.
• Practical experience with enterprise authentication and authorisation.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and SSO.
• Understanding of RBAC and controlled access to enterprise applications.
• Experience working with user authentication and/or service-principal authentication.
• Ability to work across both front-end and back-end layers.
• Experience developing secure, production-grade applications.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and application integrations.

NICE-TO-HAVE EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience with Databricks Apps.
• Experience working with the Databricks platform.
• Experience with Material UI or another modern component library.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with data ingestion and data modelling.
• Experience in reporting, BI or data-driven applications.
• Experience with workflow-based applications.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting SIT, regression, UAT or E2E testing.
• Familiarity with enterprise data, reporting or regulatory transformation projects.
