As a Full Stack Developer focusing on Stibo STEP at BASF Digital Hub Madrid, you will help industrialize master data management to enable automation and better decision-making. You’ll work within a global, diverse team to tailor STEP-based workflows, data models, and rules that power data-driven product ecosystems. You’ll contribute to reliable, scalable MDM solutions and engage with BASF communities to drive digital product development. This is a chance to shape data strategy in a leading chemical-industry digital hub.

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs and timelines
• Develop and customize features within the Stibo STEP platform (workflows, rules, WebUI, data models)
• Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews
• Manage code and CI/CD tasks using Azure DevOps
• Ensure quality and performance through testing, monitoring, and security controls
• Debug, troubleshoot, and document STEP-related issues and progress
• Support data integration by modeling and linking internal/external data sources in STEP
• Engage in BASF development communities to share knowledge and drive innovation
Responsabilidades
• 2+ years of experience with Stibo STEP development, configuration, and customization
• Solid PIM/MDM understanding with STEP workflows, WebUI customization, and business rules
• Experience with shared and customized STEP environments and core/advanced functionalities
• Familiarity with STEP reporting/monitoring and best practices in MDM/PIM
• Proficiency in JavaScript for business rules and xqbhyrx data modeling knowledge in product/customer domains
• Hands-on experience with agile tools, especially Azure DevOps, including version control and CI/CD
• Strong analytical and communication skills, collaborative mindset, eager to learn
• Fluent in English; German a plus
• Stibo Systems certification a plus
