Full Stack Developer

Summary

Build and expand a full-stack monolith for the wedding and real-estate industry, integrating AI agents, payments, and CRM while owning end-to-end features in Next.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.

Overview

We\'re building the leading digital platforms for the wedding industry & real-estate, connecting everyone through a rich, interconnected product suite. You will join a lean, high-output, AI-augmented team working on a highly opinionated, modern full-stack monolith. Our production Next.js codebase spans a B2C couple-facing web app, a B2B listing and CRM platform, a popup/campaign builder, an affiliate engine, a payments layer, and an internal AI Agent Command Center—all wired together through a shared Prisma + PostgreSQL data model. This is not a ticket-taker role. We need an engineer who thinks architecturally, understands server-side rendering boundaries, debugs relentlessly, and ships with production discipline while leveraging the latest AI tooling to multiply output.

What You\'ll Own

  • End-to-End Feature Development: Drive features from database schema design through API routes to polished UI, without handing off between layers.

  • AI Agent Engineering & Orchestration: Actively build and expand our AI Agent Command Center. Design custom skills (tool calling), orchestrate parallel agent workflows, manage context windows, and integrate LLMs deeply into our business logic.

  • System Health & Observability: Own Sentry and Datadog dashboards. Triage error spikes, set up meaningful alerts, and close the loop on regressions before users notice.

  • Architecture Decisions: Evaluate trade-offs on data modeling, caching strategies, access control patterns, and third-party integrations.

  • Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks across the stack, including query plans, bundle size, SSR vs. client rendering, and CDN behavior.

  • Integrations: Manage and scale Stripe webhooks, DigitalOcean Spaces, email delivery pipelines, and future third-party APIs.

  • Code Quality: Maintain TypeScript strictness, enforce Zod validation at API boundaries, and ensure Prisma schema never drifts.

Must-Have Experience

  • 6+ years of full-stack production experience, with at least 4 years in a Next.js or React SSR environment.

  • AI-Augmented Development Mastery: Deep, daily proficiency with advanced coding assistants like Cursor and Claude Code. You know how to use these tools to 10x boilerplate and refactoring speed, while maintaining strict architectural control.

  • Applied AI Engineering: Hands-on experience building practical AI agents. You understand system prompt engineering, giving agents "skills" (function calling), managing state across multi-agent or parallel-agent execution, and structuring reliable RAG pipelines.

  • Deep TypeScript fluency: You write types to express architectural intent, not just to silence the compiler.

  • Strong PostgreSQL fundamentals: You can write a migration, read a query plan, and design a schema that survives real-world load.

  • Prisma mastery: Hands-on experience with migrations, complex relations, and knowing when to use raw query escape hatches.

  • Production-grade Observability: Experience configuring source maps, grouping rules, custom metrics, distributed tracing, and acting on error data beyond basic SDKs.

  • Backend & API Architecture: Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication patterns (JWT/session), and server-side access control.

  • Stripe Infrastructure: Experience with webhooks, the subscription lifecycle, and idempotency keys.

  • Legacy Navigation: Ability to read, understand, and safely extend a large existing codebase without defaulting to a rewrite.

Strong Advantages

  • Experience building multi-tenant SaaS or marketplace platforms.

  • Advanced LLMOps knowledge: Experience with AI evaluation frameworks (evals), minimizing token latency, or fine-tuning models for specific business domains.

  • Familiarity with A/B testing infrastructure (variant assignment, event tracking, statistical significance).

  • Experience building or maintaining CRM-style systems (contact lifecycles, tagging, state management) or affiliate/referral engines (attribution, payout workflows).

  • Knowledge of SEO at the infrastructure level (structured data, metadata APIs, sitemap generation).

  • Experience working in codebases with complex permission systems (role-based access, feature gating).

How You Work

  • You are an AI-leveraged engineer: You use tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate your workflow, but you never blindly trust the output. You remain the architect, the debugger, and the final reviewer.

  • You verify, then act: You read existing code before touching it.

  • You build lean: You write minimal, targeted changes—avoiding gold-plating and unnecessary abstractions.

  • You value visibility: You treat monitoring as a first-class deliverable; a feature isn\'t done until it\'s observable.

  • You are proactive: You surface architectural concerns early and communicate blockers with proposed alternatives.

  • You own your output: You are comfortable deploying, watching the logs, and rolling back if necessary.
