Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position with hybrid availability in Nashua, NH and Springfield, MO.

ROLE

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise business solutions for clients, applying independent judgment in solution design while collaborating with Project Managers, Developers, and Sales to ensure successful project delivery. This position consists of three primary areas of focus:

Application Development

  • Design, develop, and implement applications and add-ons to extend the functionality of client solutions
  • Technologies may include C#, SQL, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON

Data Migration & Integration

  • Design and develop tools to connect to existing systems & databases and apply Extract Transform Load (ETL) operations to migrate data into new systems
  • Develop system integration solutions that connect business systems using .NET, REST, WCF, Database Queries, etc. and streamline the transfer of data at specific workflow stages

Solution Architecture & Pre-Sales Support

  • Work with Project Managers to help architect new projects and develop project scope
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and contribute to Statement of Work (SOW) development
  • Assist Sales team members with pre-sales tasks, including supporting client demos and Q&A

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop applications and integrations based on client requirements and established system architecture
  • Research and evaluate new technologies for potential implementation in client solutions
  • Create delivery packages for the client (installs, source code, etc.)
  • Develop application and user documentation
  • Participate in and help lead client discovery sessions to gather and clarify client requirements
  • Contribute to solution architecture and project scoping alongside the Project Manager and technical lead
  • Assist in drafting Statements of Work (SOW), translating client requirements into clear technical scope
  • Proactively and transparently collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support pre-sales activities, including client demos and Q&A, as needed
  • Participate with the Symetri technical team in the development and refinement of project best practices
  • Provide guidance to more junior developers as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • .NET (C# or VB.NET)
  • Relational Databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle)
  • Visual Studio & Source Code Repositories (Azure Repos, GIT, etc.)
  • JavaScript & HTML
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in software design, development, and architecture
    • CRM, PDM, PLM, ERP/MRP
    • Object Oriented Design Patterns
    • WCF, REST, SOAP
    • JSON, XML, CSV
    • AJAX
    • jQuery
    • HTML5
    • Experience in the manufacturing industry
    • Experience in engineering and/or mechanical design
    • General knowledge of manufacturing business processes and systems
    • Customer relation skills -- including a dynamic personality and an ability to interact with all levels of an organization
    • Experience consulting with clients to analyze, recommend and implement technology solutions
