Full Stack Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end systems.

• Build and maintain APIs and system integration components.

• Develop and support serverless functions, message queues and containerised applications.

• Troubleshoot application errors, integration issues and performance problems.

• Implement bug fixes, system enhancements and new application features.

• Maintain automated testing, build processes and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Apply secure coding practices and support application security testing.

• Implement access controls, audit logging and system monitoring.

• Collaborate with data engineers and other technical teams on application integration.

• Maintain technical documentation and provide production support when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

• At least 4 years of full-stack development experience.

• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks, back-end development and RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of databases, serverless functions, containers and messaging services.

• Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of application security, performance optimisation and system monitoring.

• Experience developing cloud-hosted applications or supporting cloud migration is an advantage.
