Full-Stack Developer

TractUs is an AI platform that transforms unstructured trade chats into contracts and documents, automating the recording and execution of trades.

Role Summary

Join the TractUs engineering team as a full-stack developer on an established platform. You’ll extend and maintain backend services that ingest messaging data, extract structured trade information, and connect it to contract generation and document workflows. This role focuses on improving reliability, iterating on existing systems, and collaborating with the front-end team to deliver dependable, near real-time functionality as the product scales.

Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain APIs and backend services that process messaging platform data and link bot interactions to contract generation workflows.
• Improve reliability and performance of data storage, retrieval, and document lifecycle systems.
• Iterate on production AI-assisted workflows that convert unstructured chat into structured, contract-ready data — refining accuracy, handling edge cases, and supporting new trade and document scenarios.
• Collaborate with the Systems Architect on architecture, security, and data handling standards.
• Support front-end integration through well-defined API endpoints and predictable data exchange.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Full-Stack or Backend Engineer, ideally with event-driven systems and secure data processing.
• Comfortable working in an existing codebase and shipping incrementally with a small team.
• Strong experience in modern backend development and database design.
• Proficient in building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud-based, scalable infrastructure.
• Interest in improving AI-assisted workflows and turning unstructured business communication into structured outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating third-party messaging or communication platforms
• Production experience with LLM-based workflows (prompt tuning, validation, failure handling)
