Full Stack Developer (Washington, DC)
The work:
Seeking highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to drive rapid development in an AI-assisted environment. You must be adept at leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Amazon Q Developer) to accelerate delivery, while applying strict human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain complex enterprise code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular 21 front-end code.
- Use AI tools to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and perform application modernization tasks.
- Ensure AI-generated outputs strictly adhere to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database standards.
- Manually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.
Here's what you need:
- Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java/Springboot, Angular(version 17 or higher), PostgreSQL, and AWS environments.
- 4+ Years Experience In JAVA/Springboot.
- 4+ Years Experience in Angular.
- 3+ Years Experience in PostgresQL.
- Demonstrated experience working in AI-assisted development workflows.
- Excellent debugging and architectural design skills to steer AI agents effectively.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- Willing to be 100% onsite in Washington, DC.
Bonus points if you have:
- Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Agile Development: Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
