Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Full Stack Developer to join their innovative team in Centurion, Gauteng. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for building dynamic and responsive web applications from front to back. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying features across our entire technology stack. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a distributed team. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Build and manage server-side logic, databases, and APIs using languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web applications.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both frontend and backend components.
- Design and manage database schemas and ensure data integrity.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and stability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role (3+ years).
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Java Script (ES6+), and a modern Java Script framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Solid experience with backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js/Express, Python/Django/Flask, Ruby on Rails, Java/Spring).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in a remote setting.
