Job Description
As a Full Stack Developer at ZOLLARO, you will build and maintain the web platform and backend services that underpin our health ecosystem — from the consumer-facing Next.js site to the APIs powering our smart scale, mobile app, and data pipelines.
You will work across the entire stack: designing database schemas, building performant server-side APIs, and shipping polished front-end features. You'll collaborate with product, design, and mobile teams to deliver cohesive experiences that meet a high quality bar from both a technical and user perspective.
We operate with a lean, senior-leaning engineering team. You'll have real ownership over the systems you build and direct input into technical decisions — not just ticket execution.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years of professional experience working across front-end and back-end systems.
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Solid backend experience with Node.js (Express, Fastify, or similar).
- Good knowledge of relational databases — PostgreSQL preferred — including schema design and query optimisation.
- Comfort working with REST APIs and, ideally, some GraphQL exposure.
- Experience with containerisation (Docker) and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Vercel).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review practices.
- Bonus: experience integrating with IoT devices, BLE, or health data standards.
- Fully remote role with flexible working hours.
- Greenfield ownership — you’ll shape systems, not just maintain them.
- Learning and development budget for certifications, courses, and events.
- Paid annual leave + government holidays.
- Collaborative team culture with engineering-led decision-making.
- Competitive compensation reviewed annually.
