About Us
Alpha FinTech Limited is a Hong Kong fintech company developing AI applications for investment research. Our platform, ZenFinAI (zenfinai.com), focuses on US and Hong Kong equity research and strategy analysis. We are a small, founder-led team, and you will be one of our first engineers.
The Role
Your initial focus will be full-stack development, website maintenance and product reliability. Over time, the role will place greater emphasis on AI agent development and investment-research workflows. You will work directly with the founder and help turn product ideas into working features.
What You'll Do
• Maintain and improve ZenFinAI across the front end, back end, deployment and production troubleshooting.
• Build and ship product features, integrate APIs and manage data flows and databases.
• Develop AI agent workflows, including LLM integration, agent orchestration, prompt design and output evaluation.
• Build investment-research data pipelines, including SEC EDGAR filing ingestion and LLM-based information extraction.
• Evaluate AI models and tools for quality, reliability, latency and cost; automate research and monitoring tasks.
What We're Looking For
• Solid programming skills, preferably Python, plus practical front-end and back-end web development experience.
• Hands-on experience using LLM APIs and an interest in building reliable AI agent applications.
• Ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot independently and take a feature from implementation to deployment.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent Mandarin and the ability to read English technical documentation independently.
• Interest in investing and financial markets; a finance background is not required.
• Existing legal right to work in Hong Kong. The company does not provide employment visa sponsorship.
Junior and mid-level candidates are welcome, including fresh graduates who can demonstrate a complete, working project. Practical project experience and delivery ability matter more than job titles.
Nice to Have
Experience with financial data or SEC EDGAR; RAG, knowledge graphs or vector databases; local LLM deployment; quantitative backtesting; or agent frameworks.
Working Arrangements
• Full-time position, with a five-day work week and MPF contributions.
• Hong Kong-based hybrid working. You must be available to attend our Fo Tan office when needed.
• Direct collaboration with the founder, meaningful product responsibility and input into technical decisions.

工作職責

• 評估 AI 模型與工具的品質、可靠性、延遲及成本，並將研究與監控流程自動化。
任職要求
• 具備扎實的編程能力，Python 優先，並有前端及後端 Web 開發實踐經驗。
• 有 LLM API 實際使用經驗，對構建可靠的 AI Agent 應用有興趣。
• 學習能力強，能獨立排查問題，並完成從功能開發到部署的交付。
• 計算機或相關專業學位，或具備同等實踐經驗。
• 普通話流利，能獨立閱讀英文技術文件。
• 對投資及金融市場有興趣，無需金融專業背景。
• 須已具備香港合法工作資格；公司不提供工作簽證擔保。
歡迎初級及中級工程師申請，亦接受能展示完整、可運作項目的應屆畢業生。我們重視實際項目經驗及交付能力。
加分項
具備金融數據或 SEC EDGAR 經驗；熟悉 RAG、知識圖譜或向量數據庫；有本地大模型部署、量化回測或 Agent 框架使用經驗。
工作安排
• 全職、五天工作制，提供強積金供款。
• 香港境內混合辦公，有需要時須到火炭辦公室工作。
• 直接與創辦人合作，承擔實際產品責任，並參與技術決策。
