Full Stack Developer - Angular / .NET - Contract

Rate: £425-£450 per day

IR35: Outside IR35

Location: Fully Remote - UK

Contract: Initial contract with potential extension

We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a software engineering team delivering modern, business-critical applications.

This is a genuinely full-stack position, requiring someone equally comfortable working across modern frontend applications and backend services.

You'll be involved throughout the development lifecycle, taking ownership of features from initial requirements through to development, testing and deployment.

The Role

You'll work across a modern Angular and C#/.NET technology stack, helping design, build and improve scalable web applications.

We're looking for someone who can work autonomously, understand complex requirements and make pragmatic engineering decisions rather than simply working through a predefined list of development tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing modern web applications using Angular


• Building backend services using C# / .NET


• Designing and developing REST APIs


• Delivering functionality across both frontend and backend systems


• Working with relational databases and data-driven applications


• Translating requirements into practical technical solutions


• Taking ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle


• Building secure and maintainable applications


• Writing high-quality unit and integration tests


• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions


• Supporting automated build and deployment processes


• Contributing to wider engineering and architectural decisions

Essential Experience

You'll need strong commercial experience with:

• Angular


• TypeScript / JavaScript


• C# / .NET


• ASP.NET Core


• REST APIs


• Entity Framework or similar ORM technologies


• SQL / relational databases


• Unit and integration testing


• Git


• CI/CD


• Modern frontend development practices

We're specifically looking for a genuine Full Stack Developer, rather than someone whose experience is heavily weighted towards either frontend or backend development.

Desirable Experience

Experience across some of the following would be advantageous:

• Azure or AWS


• Cloud-based application development


• Microservices


• Infrastructure and deployment automation


• Application security


• Authentication and authorisation


• Database design and optimisation


• Modern DevOps practices
