Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer at a digital consultancy, building scalable cloud-based microservices with Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms, while leading teams and owning deployment pipelines.

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial experience with Kotlin, Java and the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience delivering scalable, high-quality digital solutions.
  • Consultancy, Government or NHS project experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Helm is desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of user-centred software solutions.
  • Design, build and maintain scalable applications using Kotlin and Java.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital services for clients.
  • Take ownership of development and deployment pipelines.
  • Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, promoting technical best practice.
  • Present solutions and technical progress to stakeholders.
