Full-Stack Engineer - (AWS DevOps/Cloud) (React, and Node.js/Express)

About the role

Join a modern engineering team building and maintaining reliable web applications while operating secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You will contribute across the full technology lifecycle, from developing applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js/Express to automating AWS operations and improving delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js/Express.

• Operate and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure in a production run and business-as-usual environment.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.

• Automate cloud operations and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and repeatability.

• Build, maintain, and patch Docker images to address security fixes.

• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Follow Git-based development and collaboration workflows.

• Apply security-minded engineering practices, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, and network segmentation.

• Use generative AI coding tools such as Kiro or VS Code with GitHub Copilot to support software development.

What we're looking for

• Four to five years of experience building and maintaining web applications.

• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with experience using React and Node.js/Express.

• At least two years of hands-on AWS production experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure in a run or business-as-usual context.

• Working experience with Terraform and a genuine interest in automating cloud operations.

• Comfort working with Docker, including patching images for security fixes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Git-based workflows.

• A security-minded approach to cloud and application engineering.

• Comfort building with generative AI coding tools such as Kiro or VS Code with GitHub Copilot.
