Architect and build scalable web applications end to end: responsive UIs in React.js and Next.js with TypeScript, RESTful and GraphQL APIs in Python, plus AWS deployment and CI/CD pipelines. A portfolio of production-grade applications is expected.

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Axrail, you will architect and build performant, scalable web applications from front end to infrastructure.
Frontend engineering
- Develop responsive, interactive UIs with React.js or Next.js and TypeScript.
- Implement state management and performance optimisation techniques.
- Design RESTful and GraphQL APIs with Python.
- Implement authentication and authorisation (JWT, OAuth, Cognito).
- Develop microservices architecture for scalable solutions.
Cloud and DevOps
- Deploy applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3) using Infrastructure as Code (CDK).
- Set up CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline.
- Nice to have: containerise applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
Quality and performance
- Write unit and integration tests with Pytest.
- Implement caching strategies (Redis, CDN).
- Conduct load testing and optimisation.
Technical stack
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS.
- Backend: Python, with Node.js nice to have.
- Databases: MySQL, DynamoDB.
