Full-Stack Engineer
Summary
The Full-Stack Engineer will develop and maintain backend services (APIs, auth, rate limiting, background jobs), build internal admin tools, design PostgreSQL/PostGIS data models, integrate SMS/OTP/push and payment systems, and support deployments, observability, and on‑call operations using TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and real‑time technologies.
We
are seeking, on behalf of our client, a (Full-Stack Engineer).
Responsibilities:
- Develop
and maintain backend services (APIs, auth, rate limiting, background
jobs).
- Build and
enhance the internal admin tool (dispatcher console, driver onboarding,
wallet management).
- Design and
optimize data models in PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Integrate
with SMS, OTP, push notifications, and payment systems.
- Collaborate
on API contracts and real-time features with the mobile engineer.
- Support
deployments, observability, and on-call operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production engineering experience across backend and
frontend.
- Strong skills in APIs, data modeling, relational databases, and
modern web frameworks.
- Experience with deployments, Docker, and observability tools.
- Comfortable with shifting scope and working in a small, fast-moving
team.
- Working English; Arabic is a strong plus.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL/PostGIS,
and realtime systems (Ably, WebSockets).
- Background in marketplaces, ledger systems, or money flows.
- Strong testing instincts and operational experience.
