Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Builds full-stack features in TypeScript/React and scales backend systems handling terabytes of data and millions of LLM calls per month for a Munich-based AI platform.
About the Role
Join a small, product-focused team at a bootstrapped AI platform and consulting studio based in Munich, Germany. You'll work on the core platform that enables thousands of users to interact with AI every day — building high-quality full-stack features, scalable backend systems, and the infrastructure that powers massive LLM workloads, large-scale data synchronisation, and rapid custom integrations. This is a hybrid role based in Munich.
What You'll Do
Build and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript and React, with a strong focus on seamless user experience.
Design and implement robust backend systems capable of handling terabytes of client data and millions of API requests.
Take end-to-end ownership of features — from concept and architecture through deployment to ongoing operation, with a focus on reliability and security.
Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-quality codebase through thorough, constructive code reviews.
Synchronise and index large client datasets while managing fine-grained permissions.
Operate and optimise systems that process millions of LLM calls per month at high reliability.
Architect environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes per day.
Build foundational infrastructure to help the integrations team onboard new systems quickly.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full-stack features in production.
Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with Dockerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment and container orchestration.
Proven track record of building production-grade backend services at scale — high data volume, millions of API requests, with reliability and security as first-class concerns.
Comfortable owning features end-to-end and debugging complex production issues.
Nice to have:
Experience with Python, tRPC, or similar backend technologies.
Experience integrating with GenAI platforms or LLMs.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading code reviews.
Background in developer tools or AI-integrated products.
You'll thrive here if you:
Have a strong product mindset and care deeply about the user experience.
Learn quickly and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Take pride in long-term code quality and scalable system design.
