Full Stack Engineer | Contract | React & TypeScript
Summary
Contract full stack engineer role in Singapore (sourced via recruitment agency Nexbridge): build scalable web apps end to end with React/TypeScript frontends and Node.js backends, design PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, deploy on AWS/Azure with Docker and CI/CD, and mentor junior developers. Minimum 5 years of full stack experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of scalable full stack web applications.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build secure and high-performance backend services and APIs using Node.js and related frameworks.
- Design and optimise relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Deploy and maintain applications across AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Work closely with Product, UI/UX, QA and DevOps teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of full stack development experience
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS or similar.
- Good understanding of software architecture, system design and scalable applications.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker and CI/CD.
- Strong experience with relational databases and database optimisation.
