Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack TypeScript Developer / contract / Amsterdam

We're looking for a Full Stack TypeScript Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team building a self-hosted SaaS platform designed to improve developer experience and efficiency. The platform is a low-code internal tool that reduces repetitive coding and accelerates delivery across the business.

This is a hands-on contract role where you'll shape the architecture, drive code quality, and help set engineering standards - not just ship features.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and maintaining new features for a self-hosted SaaS platform.
• Taking ownership of architecture, linting, tooling, and code structure.
• Applying SOLID principles and promoting high engineering standards.
• Collaborating with a small, experienced team led by a hands-on engineering manager.
• Helping elevate the overall capability of the team - contributing beyond your own code.

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ years' experience with TypeScript - strong, practical experience is essential.
• Solid background in React and NestJS development.
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects with strong engineering discipline.
• Deep understanding of clean architecture and maintainable code design.
• Passion for improving tooling, workflows, and developer experience.
