Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Build and lead full-stack features using TypeScript, Vue 3/Nuxt 3, and Java/Spring, driving quality and maintainability across frontend and backend services.
We are looking for senior engineer able to lead complex product initiatives, work confidently across both the Nuxt/Vue client layer and the backend/API stack, and serve as a go-to technical voice within the team. The focus is on shipping features pragmatically while raising the bar on quality, maintainability and engineering practice.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive features from start to finish — scoping, building, testing, releasing and monitoring in production.
- Develop and support customer-facing applications built on TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt 3, Vuetify 3 and current frontend tooling.
- Contribute to shared frontend libraries, reusable components and composables.
- Extend and support backend/API services, including TypeScript/Node serverless functions and Java/Spring services where required.
- Raise code quality via refactoring, test automation and well-reasoned technical calls.
- Take an active part in reviews and architectural conversations.
- Support the growth of junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, feedback and practical guidance.
- Shape where the frontend platform goes next, including an upcoming Nuxt 3 → Nuxt 4 upgrade.
- Favour simple, durable solutions that serve real product goals.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 8 years building and running non-trivial web applications and backend/API services, ideally in TypeScript and Java/Spring.
- Deep TypeScript background (5 years or more).
- Familiarity with cloud environments and serverless design; AWS is a bonus.
- Substantial hands-on time with Vue 3 and Nuxt 3.
- Confident with the Vue Composition API.
- Track record with SSR applications and awareness of common SSR/CSR traps.
- Comfort with component-driven development and reusable frontend structure.
- Practical state-management experience, Pinia preferred.
- Sound grasp of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS and responsive layouts.
- Test automation experience with Vitest and Cypress/Playwright; Jest or comparable tools also welcome.
- Fluency with Git, Yarn and contemporary development workflows.
