Full-Stack Engineer — Front-End Focus
You'll join as a full-stack engineer who leans front-end but is comfortable working end-to-end across React, Node, and Meteor. You will own critical parts of client-facing interfaces and internal tools, collaborating directly with founders and backend engineers to ship secure, performant, data-driven applications. You'll design responsive UIs, extend APIs and services, integrate live market and settlement data into dashboards, and use AI coding tools to accelerate your work while maintaining high quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive UIs in React and TypeScript
- Extend and maintain Meteor/Node services and APIs
- Integrate live market, credit, and settlement data into performant dashboards
- Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams to deliver polished, reliable features
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development and maintain quality
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code
- Perform code reviews and share best practices
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help evolve the stack
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Habitual use of AI-assisted coding tools
- Experience building or extending APIs in Node.js
- Comfort working across front-end and back-end boundaries
- Familiarity with MongoDB or similar document stores
- Clear communicator, self-directed, and effective in a fast-moving environment
- Exposure to Python (data ingestion or API scripting) is a plus
- Understanding of fintech, crypto, or trading workflows is a plus
- Experience with WebSockets, real-time data, or visualization libraries is a plus
- Meteor familiarity is ideal
- Prior startup or small-team experience is a plus
