Contract role (3-6 months, likely extension) for a backend-focused full-stack engineer at a global digital business, building services in Go (REST/gRPC) with a Vue.js/Nuxt.js frontend. Emphasis on scalable systems, testing, containerisation, and senior-level collaboration including AI-driven development practices.
We are working with a global digital business who are looking for a Backend focused Full-Stack Engineer with strong proficiency in Golang.
Key Skills:
- Full-Stack Development: Expert in Vue.js/Nuxt.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS and strong GoLang Back End development, including RESTful APIs and gRPC
- Scalable & Reliable Systems: Experience with database design (SQL/NoSQL), performance optimisation, automated testing, debugging, containerisation and deployment, with a focus on scalability
- Senior Engineering & AI-Driven Development: Proven Senior/Lead-level experience, strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, plus experience with Agentic Development and Spec-Driven Development.
Contract Details:
- This position will be paying up to £430 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
- Initial 3-6 Month contract with high likelihood for extension
- Flexible hybrid structure - 2-8 days per month in office
- Must have the right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
