Full Stack Engineer

FULL STACK ENGINEER
£80,000 + BONUS

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly established engineering team building an AI-powered SaaS platform from the ground up. You'll have genuine ownership across the full technology stack, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in shaping both the product and engineering culture from an early stage.

Our client is a fast-growing AI and technology business operating within the investment and financial services space. Backed by a well-established global organisation, they combine cutting-edge AI capabilities with enterprise-grade software used by leading investment firms. With a flat structure and high-performing team, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact while working on complex, real-world challenges.

• Build and deliver end-to-end product features across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure
• Develop modern applications using React, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL and AWS
• Design scalable APIs, backend services and database architectures for enterprise-level products
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate LLM-powered features and intelligent workflows into the platform
• Influence technical decisions, architecture and engineering best practices within a growing team
• Work directly with senior stakeholders and contribute to the future direction of the product and platform

• 5+ years' experience building and shipping production software
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong backend development experience using Python, ideally FastAPI or Django
• Solid PostgreSQL, SQL and data modelling expertise
• Experience building authentication, authorisation and permission-based systems
• Knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines and containerised applications
• Previous involvement in architecture and technical decision-making
• Exposure to AI-powered products, Next.js, Node.js, Kubernetes, Terraform or financial services environments would be advantageous

• £80,000 base salary
• 10% annual bonus
• Hybrid working model (3 days in office)
