Full Stack Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer building and maintaining an event-driven .NET/Azure platform for SGI’s Auto Fund DRIVE system, using React, DDD, and automated pipelines.

Base pay range

CA$75.00/hr - CA$75.00/hr

Location: Remote (Canada residents with valid work authorization)

Job type: Contract (6 months) - High possibility of extension

Pay: CAD$75 / hour

Note: If you have previously worked with SGI - Saskatchewan Government Insurance, it will be a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead “Event Modeling” sessions and provide ongoing production support of the SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform, including a full event-based .NET architecture, Azure development pipelines, modern development standards, practices, languages, frameworks, automated testing, and a unique product domain structure.
  • Full-Stack Developer — bridge front-end and back-end development to ensure smooth integration and cohesive development processes.
  • Event Modeler — create a visual, structured blueprint for an information system focusing on events, commands, and views to guide development of flexible, event-driven systems.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Must have previously worked with SGI on the development and implementation of the SGI Auto Fund DRIVE Platform.
  • Must have previously led Product Modeling sessions based on the Adaptec framework.
  • 3+ years experience with the following technologies and skills:
    • Event-Based Architecture
    • Micro-services
    • .NET with GIT and Visual Studio
    • Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
    • Scrum
    • Application Insights for monitoring and alerting
    • Jest for automated testing
    • Automated development pipelines
    • React for Front-End development
    • Azure services for event database technologies
