A hands-on full-stack engineer builds and maintains a TypeScript monorepo of internal web apps (React, Next.js, Supabase/PostgreSQL) deployed on Vercel, including Zoho REST API integrations, RBAC/auth, and testing pipelines, with ~10-15% light internal IT support. Mostly custom development (85-90%) for the consultancy's client in Dubai.
We have an immediate opening with our client for a Full-Stack Engineer (React / Type Script / Supabase) to build and maintain their internal web application ecosystem. The primary scope is custom software development (85–90%), with occasional light internal IT administration (10–15%). The candidate must be an active, hands‑on application developer.
Core Responsibilities
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain a Type Script monorepo powering a suite of internal web applications on a shared design system.
- Scaffold new applications from an existing base template.
- Manage daily Supabase operations: Postgre SQL schema design, migrations, Row-Level Security (RLS) policies, and safe production rollouts.
- Deploy, configure, and manage domains, environments, and builds on Vercel.
- Build, monitor, and maintain Zoho REST API integrations (People, Books, Inventory), handling field mapping, sync jobs, webhooks, and error handling.
- Decommission legacy low-code workflows and migrate functionality to production web applications without data loss.
- Maintain cross-app authentication, role-based access controls (RBAC), and permissions via a central identity package.
- Implement automated testing pipelines that fail builds if design tokens, UI standards, or core integration rules break.
- Follow written technical specifications, fixed execution sequences, and internal documentation standards.
- Handle ad-hoc internal IT and workspace support when required, including account provisioning (Google Workspace/email), basic hardware/printer setups, local office network checks, and Saa S tool access.
Candidate Profile & Experience Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of commercial development using React, Next.js, Type Script, and Postgre SQL.
- Database & Auth: Proven track record writing Postgre SQL queries and implementing Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
- API Integrations: Direct experience integrating third-party REST APIs, token management, webhooks, rate limiting, and bi-directional data synchronization. Zoho API experience is an advantage.
- Architecture: Hands‑on experience working in Type Script monorepos (such as Turborepo or pnpm workspaces).
- Delivery: Disciplined with task tracking, Git workflows, and documentation.
- Operational IT: Pragmatic approach and familiarity with basic internal IT troubleshooting and user access provisioning.
