About the Role
As a Tech Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will shape the technical direction of a consumer-facing platform, ensuring it scales reliably as the product and community grow. This role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, influencing architecture, quality, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll own critical systems, mentor a growing team, and modernise a complex codebase. It’s a high‑impact opportunity in a fast‑paced, product‑led environment.
What You Will Do
- Architect and code robust, scalable features across frontend and backend;
- Work deeply in an existing web application codebase, enhancing core modules and integrating with a graph database;
- Implement state management with Redux and design performant React components;
- Manage a small but growing team of developers;
- Divide tasks and assign them to individuals;
- Review code;
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams by communicating progress and blockers early and often;
- Maintain high standards for documentation, testing, and code reviews;
- Architect solutions that handle high throughput while maintaining low latency;
- Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve system reliability.
Must Haves
- 7+ years of full‑stack development experience
- 3+ years of team lead or management experience
- Proven track record of mentoring other engineers and driving technical initiatives
- Experience with graph databases (Neptune with Gremlin preferred)
- Experience with web and mobile application technologies including HTML/CSS, React, React Native, TypeScript, Tailwind, Redux, Node.js, and Next.js
- Experience using Git
- Proven ability to navigate and improve large, production‑scale codebases
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in a fast‑moving team environment
- Strong track record of delivering solutions with high throughput and low latency requirements
- Upper‑intermediate English level
