Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Full Stack Engineer building and supporting cloud-based applications across frontend, backend, and database layers on AWS serverless architecture. Day to day: developing Angular/React web apps, designing RESTful APIs with API Gateway and Lambda, defining infrastructure as code, and participating in CI/CD and production support.
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build, enhance, and support cloud-based applications across the front end, back end, and database layers. Working closely with UI\UX designers, engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners, this person will turn business requirements into reliable, well-tested solutions; develop frontend web applications; and build and integrate RESTful APIs on AWS.
The engineer will contribute across the full software development lifecycle — technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support — with a strong emphasis on AWS-based, serverless architectures. This role includes solutioning on AWS, applying Well-Architected Framework principles, and helping ensure applications are reliable, secure, and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, maintain, and enhance full stack applications across the front end, back end, and database layers.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop frontend web applications using Angular or React, applying modern frontend design patterns and best practices.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using API Gateway and Lambda to support integration between applications and enterprise systems.
- Design and implement backend/data storage solutions using RDS and/or DynamoDB, and integrate with S3 and related AWS services.
- Define and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Partner with Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps, and application teams to implement CI/CD pipeline deployments using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Leverage AI coding agents/tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and integration issues in development and production environments, and document root cause and resolution steps.
- Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver application solutions that support business and user needs.
