About Kedara
Millions of families struggle to coordinate aging care - locally or even remotely. We're simplifying aging care for families bringing all the information to a one care hub with a personalized AI Assistant that becomes a trusted partner for caregivers — to coordinate care and reduce burnout. Our founding team scaled Speech AI at BabbleLabs (acquired by Cisco) with deep enterprise and consumer product experiences. We're a small team of AI-native product engineering, AI/ML, and senior care expertise.
About the Role
You'll own features end to end, from database to UI, on a voice-first product that caregivers rely on. You'll bridge our AI backend and the apps people, especially older adults, family caregivers and often non-tech savvy caregivers in the aging care settings actually use, making them fast, reliable, intuitive and easy to use.
This is a paid internship. We're looking for someone we'd want to keep: strong performers will be considered for a full-time engineering role at the end of the internship.
What You'll Work On
- Build and ship features across the stack: PostgreSQL schemas, FastAPI routes and React/TypeScript UI
- Work on real-time experiences: streaming AI responses, voice/audio interactions and latency
- Capture user interactions and model inputs/outputs so the team can keep improving the AI
- Containerize and deploy services with Docker on AWS/GCP, alongside the platform team
- Join design discussions and propose simple, maintainable approaches
What We're Looking For
- Fresh graduate or Final-year student (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in CS or a related field), graduating in 2027.
- Python with FastAPI, Flask or Django, and React with TypeScript/JavaScript
- SQL fundamentals (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Git, plus at least one full-stack project you've built and deployed (side project, hackathon, open source or earlier internship)
- Clear written communication; you'll work async with a remote team across time zones
Good to have
- WebSockets or WebRTC
- Docker and basic AWS/GCP exposure
- LangChain / LangGraph or other AI tooling
- MongoDB, mobile (Android/iOS), HIPAA/data privacy awareness, voice AI
