Full Stack Engineer

Our esteemed client in the IT industry is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: 12-months renewable contract
- Position: Full Stack Engineer
- Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Newton)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
- Salary Package: Up to $7,600 + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and data processing components.
- Build and enhance modern, responsive frontend applications while ensuring performance and usability.
- Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from implementation to deployment and ongoing support.
- Support technical leadership by coordinating team activities and maintaining engineering momentum during the Tech Lead's absence.
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, solution design, and effort estimation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Designers, to deliver high-quality user-centric solutions.
- Identify technical risks and recommend practical solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, cloud deployments, application monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to both backend and frontend development.
- Strong experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, database solutions, and system integrations.
- Hands‑on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or similar component‑based technologies.
- Ability to independently own and deliver features from backend implementation through frontend delivery.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, deployment processes, and application monitoring.
- Previous experience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives, or supporting engineering teams in a senior capacity. Prior experience as a tech lead or in a 2IC capacity on a small team would be a plus.
- Experience using AI‑assisted development tools while maintaining high standards of code quality and manual validation would be an advantage.
- Experience working in regulated, enterprise, or highly governed environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of secure cloud architecture and system integration best practices is a plus.
