Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) - FX Trading

Full Stack Engineer (Java/Kotlin \& React) | FX Trading | Contract | London | Up to £535 p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)

I'm working with a global consulting firm that's building the strategic software behind a tier-1 bank's FX trading business in London, and they need a Full Stack Engineer to join the team.

It's proper end-to-end ownership, from first idea through to production and beyond, in a team that takes AI-assisted development seriously and has zero tolerance for sloppy code.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, building and scaling FX trading products across server and client side


• Owning features end to end, from inception to production support


• Breaking big, complex requirements into deliverable user stories


• Driving technical improvements, simplifications and architecture changes

What they're looking for:

• Strong production Kotlin or Java, with Spring Boot, Kafka and Project Reactor


• REST and WebSocket streaming API design


• TypeScript and React, with Playwright for end-to-end testing


• Hands-on use of modern AI development tools

12 month initial contract, 3 days per week on-site in London, starting ASAP.
