Full-Stack Engineer (Java + ReactJS)

Summary
Builds and supports enterprise IT applications end to end using Java, Spring and ReactJS — translating business requirements into designs, working in Agile sprints, running SIT/load testing with CI/CD, and supporting production deployments. Requires 5+ years of hands-on development experience and includes mentoring junior engineers.
We are looking for experienced Full-Stack Engineers to analyse, design, develop and support IT applications. You will collaborate with the Scrum Master, Product Owner and technical team to deliver reliable, maintainable applications through Agile development sprints.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse business and technical requirements, and translate them into application designs and technical specifications.
Develop and enhance applications using Java, ReactJS, Spring and related technologies.
Assess enhancement requests and prepare clear change specifications.
Use AI-assisted tools to support development, troubleshooting and solution design, while reviewing outputs for accuracy and quality.
Prepare and maintain application, system and technical documentation.
Participate in sprint planning, system reviews and other Agile ceremonies.
Understand dependencies across applications, systems, messaging services and databases to diagnose issues and improve efficiency.
Use development tools and automation to improve productivity and software quality.
Develop test cases and conduct system integration testing (SIT), load testing and performance tuning to meet service-level agreements.
Support production deployments and provide post-implementation troubleshooting and support.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Stay current with emerging technologies, standards and development practices relevant to application delivery.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of recent, relevant hands-on experience in application development.
Hands-on experience with Java and ReactJS, including knowledge of the Spring Framework.
Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ.
Experience with PostgreSQL or an equivalent relational database management system.
Practical experience with Agile delivery, including Scrum and sprint planning.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
