Full-Stack Engineer

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll develop web applications and software tools that support humanoid and embodied robotic systems. The role will focus mainly on front-end development, including robot monitoring, system configuration, data visualisation, and operational interfaces, while also contributing to backend services, APIs, and system integration.

You’ll work closely with robotics and systems engineers to turn complex robot data and workflows into reliable, user-friendly applications for development, testing, and real-world deployment.

What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and maintain web-based interfaces for robot monitoring, control, configuration, and diagnostics.
  • Build dashboards for real-time system status, telemetry, logs, alerts, and operational data.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and database integrations to support robotic applications.
  • Integrate software applications with ROS2, robotic middleware, simulation environments, and hardware systems.
  • Create tools to support testing, debugging, data review, and robot deployment.
  • Improve application performance, usability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot software, communication, and system integration issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout development and deployment.

Technical Requirements

Must Have

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with React, Vue.js, Angular, or a similar front-end framework.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Basic backend development experience using Python, Node.js, C#, Java, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and real-time data communication.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with robotics, automation, autonomous systems, or industrial software.
  • Familiarity with ROS or ROS2.
  • Exposure to Linux, Docker, WebSocket, MQTT, or deployment workflows.
  • Experience with data visualisation, monitoring dashboards, or internal engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with simulation platforms such as Gazebo, MuJoCo, or Isaac Lab.
