Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Full Stack Engineer at Lattica, an early-stage startup building a decentralized lending and leverage platform for prediction markets. You'll design frontend and backend systems, tune the margin/risk engine, and own infrastructure and deployments end-to-end while working directly with the founders.
About Lattica
Lattica’s mission is to turn prediction markets into the largest asset class on Earth and, along the way, make traders an ungodly amount of money. Our initial product is the first scalable yet safe decentralized lending and leverage platform for prediction markets.
The Role
We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help build the core product, infrastructure, and risk systems that power Lattica. You will work directly with the founders, become a crucial senior member of the engineering team, and own shipping features, improvements, and products from end-to-end.
This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious engineer to get in early, help shape the future of a novel financial system, meet similarly ambitious and smart people, and have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.
What You’ll Do
Design and iterate on Lattica's frontend product and backend architecture
Improve and tune the risk engine underlying our margin and lending systems
Own infrastructure, deployments, and system reliability end-to-end
Help drive product decisions from idea to shipped code
Who You Are
Lattica’s culture is one of moving fast, taking risks, and thinking outside the box. While experience is handy, we strongly emphasize drive and a quickness to learn above all else. As such, you would be a good fit for this role if:
You have experience in backend systems, ideally at scale
You have experience in UI/UX design, testing, and implementation
You've worked with or have interest in quantitative/risk systems, DeFi protocols, or trading infrastructure
You prefer to ship and iterate rather than “plan.”
You have traded, used, or believe in the mission of prediction markets.
Major pluses if:
You have experience or specialize in DevOps, AWS, and/or GCP.
You have experience in statistics, data + feature engineering, and MLOps.
You live in or are willing to relocate to Philadelphia (it's a great city, we promise).
Nice to haves:
Experience working with blockchain and smart contract languages (solidity, vyper, etc.)
Experience working with low level languages in production systems (C++ or rust preferred)
